Be Prepared to run your patrol and troop by getting trained!  There are several opportunities coming your way depending upon your experience level:

TLT - Troop Leadership Training is provided by the Scoutmaster to all scouts newly elected to a position.  The class is delivered shortly after elections.

JLOW - Junior Leadership Orientation Workshop - is training for scouts who are just beginning to take on leadership roles within the troop.  Many scouts will take this course several times because they learn something new and because it's fun!   The next class is February 25, 2012  at Camp Lazarus.

NYLT - National Youth Leadership Training- is an extensive leadership development course for the more experienced scout.   For this one you need to be at least First Class, be 13 years or older, and have the Scoutmaster's approval.  You should have also taken the other two courses at least once.  Upcoming dates:  Weekend format will be April 13-15 and April 27-29.  Nagatamen is June 10-16,
